We’re embarking on a hugely exciting journey, and we hope you’ll join us for the adventure!
In our brand-new blog, we’ll be explaining how our project offering free English lessons works, keeping you updated on the project’s progress, the ideas we are exploring, those in development, and those already being implemented. This space will also serve as a platform for our continuous learning.
We’ll not only be celebrating our successes but also acknowledging our main challenges and exploring new ways to overcome them.
We will share details of what is going well and what has not yet achieved the expected results we desired. Additionally, we will open the curtains on our backstage activities, revealing the efforts shaping our progress.
We hope this new approach will attract people interested in connecting with us, perhaps even inspiring those embarking on their online business journeys.
Through our ideas and experiences, together, we will create a valuable resource for others seeking to establish their own online presence. By opening our strategy for analysis, we passionately believe we can turn our efforts into a practical and inspiring case study.
Sharing our learning experiences and fostering open discussions about these are both essential to consistently improving our project.
Our vision goes beyond our work alone. We aspire to cultivate a diverse environment where people from various areas can contribute feedback and knowledge. We also recognize that other entrepreneurs or companies may have unique approaches that could enrich our perspectives, and this mutual exchange could be transformative.
Therefore, we are committed to sharing our actions and progress in a more detailed and regular manner. For this particular post, we are focusing on our reflections after the first semester. The most notable achievements during this time include the development of our first online marketing funnel, successfully organizing the selection process, and producing engaging video scripts. Hiring a professional narrator to record the videos also marked a turning point in our quest for quality.
Our success also manifested in a very warm response from the community, with an overwhelming number of registrations. The meticulous preparation, which included months of planning stages and videos, also contributed to most participants following the 5-day process as instructed in the notice.
However, we cannot ignore the challenges that we also encountered along the way. We were surprised to find that half of those who registered on the landing page did not open the first email, resulting in non-participation in the selection process.
Our decision to create the 5-day challenge on Facebook did not have the expected participation, potentially because many people don’t actually use the platform and those who failed to open the instructions. As such, we’ve noticed the need to adapt our strategy, exploring alternative platforms such as Instagram to reach a broader audience.
So, we considered the possibility of creating a WhatsApp group instead. People tend to prefer using WhatsApp, and many of us already spend a lot of time on the app anyway, making it easier to get started with.
We imagine a WhatsApp group would work like this: the group would initially be closed for the first week of promotion and advertising and then provide important information about the course. Once opened to the public, people would be able to chat and ask questions.
Taking inspiration from our friends at Sebrae and their Up Digital course, in which we participated, we are considering this tactic to help learners enjoy more positive results accordingly.
We are immensely excited about what the future holds for us and are committed to sharing every step of this journey. We hope you continue to follow us, and we would love to receive messages from our followers with any further tips or wisdom; together, we can achieve much more than what we can do individually.
