All my life I heard that the English Language is the most important language to learn, because of that I always looked to practice the language but I have never connected with the conventional education. I always learned the same thing, used the same book, studied the same expressions.
When I started my private classes, Kate showed me that the English language could be something cool, fun and good to learn, because I always learn something different and interesting. Kate's classes allowed me to improve my English grammar, listening and she helped me develop my speaking. She always corrects my mistakes and pronunciation.
Kate makes it a question to practice my English everyday. She talks with me on whatsapp, sends videos, homework, vocabulary lists... These are big differentials about her because you practice even outside the classroom.
Another point that I noted is that the English classes with Kate are very important for my job, because of that I was able to do a professional course 100 percent in English. In this course I spoke, read and listened in English.

I am Gabriela, I am 23 years old and I work at a multinational company with insurance and reinsurance. For me, English is very important at work. Many times I have to talk with an international client, write emails or participate in meetings in English. I've already lived abroad for six months when I was in high school, but I didn't continue studying English after that, so I lost a lot of what I had learned. I have been taking private English classes since January and I am feeling a lot more confident and with a bigger range of vocabulary. The classes with Kate were fundamental for my improvement and confidence building in the English language. After years of studying, I realized that I didn't feel safe to speak in English. I knew grammar well, could read and interpret, and got good grades on English tests, but I had difficulty understanding and, mainly, speaking. And nothing better to overcome this problem than daily contact with a native teacher who is highly trained and an expert in language teaching.
Through dynamic classes, with updated subjects of students’ interest, it is possible to dive into different themes, enrich vocabulary and develop conversational skills. An incredible experience for all those who want to leverage their studies and have contact with North American culture and the English language.

Taking classes with Kate was crucial for my development and communication, because through her inclusive English program, created for Farm Rio employees, I discovered that it was possible to improve my skills quickly.
Over the course of four months, I had weekly classes, where I was able to improve my conversation, confidence and grammar skills. Kate's flexibility, friendliness and diligence created a comfortable class atmosphere, where fun and dynamic learning contributed to a more assertive understanding of the content. Not to mention that the support via Whatsapp before and after each task made a total difference in my learning. Precisely because of this, I am applying to be a volunteer in the project in Morro do Cantagalo, which aims to help the less privileged to have free access to a good English course; and I confess that I am eager to help!
